Called or Not,
Spirits are Present
By Rhonda Schaller
R eaders had this to say:
“I truly believe "Called or Not, Spirits are Present" will be a superb, first-hand example of what it means to work in concert with a sentient Universe.”
“I've finished "Called or Not..." and think you've done a fabulous job! I found reading it strangely quieting and peaceful– almost meditative. Congratulations!”
“You help so many re-establish wholeness within themselves by finding the answers within, meeting within their own consciousness the spirits and gods and goddesses they need for healing. The wisdom, inspiration and hope you offer will play a profound part in transforming individuals, and thereby planetary consciousness, bringing new levels of light and healing to collective humanity.”
Preface
This is a fictionalized account of a true story. The names of individuals have been changed to protect their privacy. For ease of reading, I have taken poetic license to write a story woven around the facts and events, not necessarily in the order in which they happened.
Over a two-year period I recorded my visits, psychic experiences, and meditative trance states at the ancient sites in Greece. As I traveled from site to site, I kept an audio journal of the energies and teachings I discovered at these sites. That journal has become this book, an autobiographical account of my search for wholeness and spiritual integration at the sacred sites in modern Greece. That search began as a tourist visit to the Acropolis and became an often mystifying, sometimes terrifying adventure into the mythic realms of ancient Greece, where inexplicable events and bizarre encounters with psychic phenomena served as a testing ground for a life-changing spiritual journey.
Many people are fascinated by psychic phenomena. They wonder if such “experiences” are real, if they’re made up, what their source is. In my opinion, psychic phenomena exist and can be perceived within the “fields of energy” that emanate from what we perceive, see, and hear as real. We can be taught to “see” – and learn to widen that sight – as well as learn to ignore it. I base my opinion on 25 years of personal experience.
The larger question is whether it is necessary to develop your psychic sight in order to grow spiritually. The answer to that, I believe is a resounding no. For some, it is a distraction, a “cultist escape”, which does not lead them to inward perceptions of Truth. For others, myself included it is the pathway inside for an inward contemplation of divine reality, which leads to realization of the divinity and divine purpose in all things. You, the reader, are welcome to decide for yourself.
You are welcome to take this story as fact or as fiction. What matters most is what you experience as you read this book: what resonates within you, where that takes you, and that you come to your own conclusions, and your own awakening.
We can each go on a quest for meaning and invite the hero/heroine within us to embark on a life-changing journey. Our lives are shifted by the trials we go through, by the obstacles we meet. On this journey we can discover the power of life via our active meditations. Indeed, life itself is an active meditation. The subjects of our meditations are always Truth. This story is my search for Truth.
I invite you to embark upon yours.
Truth is already within you.
